Events

(Please note: We do not host private events at this time.)

As a member of the Shawangunk Wine Trail, we participate in all the trail events. It would be very difficult to accommodate the large event crowds in our regular tasting room, so we transform our fruit packing room downstairs in the barn just for these events. We don't do much primping for Pasta Primo Vino, but the walls are full of information about our particular adopted country for Around the World, and for Wreath Fineries, we decorate so much, we hardly recognize the place! We hope to see you at an event soon.

2011 Shawangunk Wine Trail Event Dates:
Pasta Primo Vino! April 16-17
Around the World in 80 Miles June 18-19
Bounty of the Hudson July 30-31
Wreath Fineries at the Wineries November 19-20, December 3-4 & 10-11

People enjoying the Pasta Event Pasta Primo Vino! - 2010
Last year we took a traditional dish, gave it a little extra punch, and made both preparation and clean up simpler than ever. Our Kicked Up Mac & Cheese is fast, fiesty and delicious, especially with Glorie Seyval Blanc. You'll find the recipe here.

Glorie Farm Winery adopted MEXICO!

Is your passport up to date? Lots of people got their papers in order in 2010 and came up to Glorie Farm Winery for a visit to "Mexico." Of course, for this event MaryEllen goes back to her old teaching skills and puts together lots of posters with interesting information and pictures about our adopted country. There was even a quiz where you could test your knowledge about Mexico.

In 2011 we're adopting... CHILE!

Bounty of the Hudson Wine & Food Festival
Unlike the other wine trail events, for Bounty you drive to one place, and we (the wineries) all meet you there! And remember, this event isn't just about the wineries. Top-rated restaurants and food purveyors (sometimes unusual ones!) join us as well. There is live music to sit and enjoy all day, too. Let's see: wine, food, music, and relaxation. Sounds like a good time to us! This year's Bounty festival will be hosted by Adair Vineyards in New Paltz. Make plans now to join us!

Fun at Wreath Fineries Wreath Fineries at the Wineries

This is the most popular event of the year and it's always a sellout, so don't wait until December to get your tickets! Wine makes a great gift for all occasions, so make a list of the important occasions for special people in your life and come ready to find just the right bottle of wine to keep or to give. Plus, "appetizer" is MaryEllen's favorite food group, so we promise to always serve some sort of easy-to-put-together, delectable appetizer that you'll want to make for your holiday party. Make this memorable event part of your holiday traditions!
