As a member of the Shawangunk Wine Trail, we participate in all the trail events: Pasta Primo Vino, a new June event (TBD soon!), Bounty of the Hudson, and everyone's favorite holiday event Wreath Fineries at the Wineries. We hope to see you at an event soon!
2013 Shawangunk Wine Trail Event Dates: Pasta Primo Vino! This year we served up samples of a delicious yet simple classic Italian dish: Pasta Pomodoro. Leave it to the Italians to take just a few ingredients and blend them into a taste sensation that is simple perfection. Delightful with Glorie red wines! Around the World in 14 Wineries For this fun event each winery adopts a different country, and a "passport" is your ticket into each country. With two new wineries on the trail this year, you can travel to 14 different countries where you can enjoy fabulous Hudson Valley wines paired with free samples of delicious food of each adopted country. This year we're adopting Germany. Take a wonderful, whirlwind tour of the world and never leave the Hudson Valley! Go to purchase tickets.. Bounty of the Hudson Wine & Food Festival Unlike the other wine trail events, for Bounty you drive to one place, and we (the wineries) all meet you there! And remember, this event isn't just about the wineries. Top-rated restaurants and food purveyors (sometimes unusual ones!) join us as well. There is live music to sit and enjoy all day, too. Let's see: wine, food, music, and relaxation. Sounds like a good time to us! Bounty of the Hudson 2013 will be hosted by Whitecliff Vineyard and Winery in Gardiner. Make plans now to join us! Wreath Fineries at the Wineries This is the most popular event of the year and it's always a sellout, so don't wait until the weather turns cold to get your tickets! Wine makes a great gift for all occasions, so make a list of the important occasions for special people in your life and come ready to find just the right bottle of wine to keep or to give. Plus, "appetizer" is MaryEllen's favorite food group, so we promise to always serve some sort of easy-to-put-together, delectable appetizer that you'll want to make for your holiday party.
