Housed in a 1913 barn near the top of Mt. Zion Mountain in Marlboro, New York, Glorie Farm Winery is one of the newest wineries driving fresh energy into the Hudson Valley! Established in 2004, our small family winery seemed a natural extension to our fruit farm, Glorie Farms. As a boutique-style winery, an average of just 500 cases of wine are produced each year. We belong to the Shawangunk Wine Trail and are a founding member of Meet Me in Marlborough (Marlborough Agricultural Alliance). We enjoy making, tasting, and talking with visitors about the array of unique, estate-grown grape and fruit wines that we offer. If you haven't come up to see us yet, we hope you will choose a nice day in 2008 to make the trip! The tasting room is open Saturdays, Sundays, and Monday holidays from Memorial Day weekend through December, and of course for the wine trail events: Pasta Primo Vino - April 19 & 20, Around the World - June 14 & 15, and Wreath Fineries - the first three weekends in December. We have several new vintages of some old favorites and will be offering our second vintage of the very popular semi-sweet Peach Wine as well as our first estate-grown vintage of Cabernet Franc. Plus. you won't want to miss the refreshing, new Jumpin Jazz wine adorned with the incredible winning artwork from our first wine label art contest!
One note: Returning visitors to this website know that we had been in the process of having a professional re-vamp the entire thing. Well, we've decided to bring it back in-house, so MaryEllen will be adding pages & pictures and generally just sprucing things up during the next month or so. She's not a "pro" at this, you know, but she's got lots of ideas and she's sure to surprise you (and maybe us as well :)). In the meantime, there may be a few broken links, empty pages, or things simply out of place, but we hope to have them fixed very soon. Thanks again for your patience! |
